Speed, Velocity, and the Big Mo
Velocity – the speed of something in a given direction.
Speed- the rate at which someone or something is able to move or operate.
Momentum- a product of its mass and velocity.
Acceleration- an increase in the rate or speed of something.\
Terminal Velocity- the constant speed that a freely falling object eventually reaches = Gravity is 9.8 m/s
Mass- a body’s resistance to being accelerated by a force (usually in Lbs)
Force- strength or energy (labeled as Newton’s)
Work- refers to an activity involving a force (Labeled as Joules)
Energy- is the capacity for doing work.
Power – is the rate of doing work
